Tagalder's Venus of Black Rocks
Date of Birth - December 31, 2007
Team Position - Lead or Point
Height - 23"
Weight - about 50 lbs.

OFA - good
Intact female
You tell me what color she is!!! Seal point with bi-parti eyes (one brown, one split blue/brown)
Venus comes to us from Black Rocks Racing Kennels in Minnesota. She has several nicknames - my favorite is probably "Weenut" but "Auntie Venie" is probably just as common. Venus has been puppy auntie to every single pup we've acquired after we welcomed her to the Tagalder pack. She LOVES puppies!!! She will be an awesome momma herself someday but so far we just haven't found the perfect stud.
Venus is a very sweet-dispositioned girl. Although she was shy at first, she really blossomed into herself and soon afterwards acquired the nickname, "Tinker!" (short for Stinker). She knows that she's not Snowfall's favorite, so one of her tricks is to put her front paws on the kennel divider and SHAKE SHAKE SHAKE that kennel wall! In relating to other dogs she tends to be submissive. She will run lead, but since her personality is more deferential, she does need to run with a strong-headed leader. She does better in point, and has many times swung the team if the leaders don't get the turn right away. She is capable of running in every position in the team. She's definitely the fastest dog in our kennel - in a full-out free run in the back yard, no one can touch her. She's playful, affectionate, and silly. We love our Venus!
